 Board of Directors Meeting

Board Members Present: Shaun, Kevin, Ed, Rick, Chrissy, Bob, Nancy

Board Members Absent: None

PPOA Members Present: None

 

Meeting was called to order by Shaun at 2:37.

 

Minutes:  Shaun made a motion and Chrissy seconded to approve the November minutes. Motion passed.

 

Approval of Agenda: Shaun made a motion and Rick seconded to approve the agenda. Motion passed.

 

Lake Health: There is nothing new. We will know in February if we get the grants.

 

Common Facilities: Shaun checked the Wanigan and everything was good. He also checked and did a quick cleaning at the campground.

 

Administrators report (Website, Rentals):  Shaun would like to get proposals from three companies for credit card payments. Chrissy has checked with Square. If we are a non-profit, we do not have to use an individual social security number. Nancy said we are a not for profit, not a non-profit.  Chrissy will see if that makes a difference. Venmo might also be an option. It would be a lot easier if we could send assessments by email and take online payments. The board spent 1 1/2 hours stuffing envelopes for mailing assessments. Shaun also enclosed a newsletter. We would like everyone to provide their email. In the future we could use this to get information to people. Michelle from the prior board would like to make sure her contact information is removed from Go Daddy. Chrissy will check on this.

 

Financial Information. Treasurers report: Rick did not run a report because there was nothing new. He paid the plumber for close up and the electric bill. The final invoice was sent to Hunt Electric for the campground rental. We have not received the Firewise check yet. Ed is still working on projects, and he would like a list. There is an informational kiosk in the basement of Lakeview. He will look at restoring it so that we could use it for posting notices. He will be working on windowsills in the Lodge. There is also some damaged siding on the Lodge. There is extra siding in the basement of the Lakeview. The electric circuits in the Lakeview will have to be checked before next year rentals. There will be no meeting in January and February.

 

Adjournment: Shaun made a motion and Kevin seconded to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed and the meeting was adjourned a 3:30 PM.
